SENIOR Transportation provides Basic Life Support (BLS) throughout the South Jersey area.

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AMBULANCE

SENIOR Transportation maintains a fleet of Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulances to meet the needs of residents and patients throughout Southern New Jersey.

SENIOR uses BLS Ambulances to transport people to and from:

  • the hospital for special procedures,
  • any of the many dialysis units in our area (I.e., Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, and Ocean Counties),
  • for non-life-threatening emergency calls,
  • other medical facilities, and
  • doctor’s office visits.

Each BLS Ambulance is approved by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services for BLS services. Each one of these ambulances is equipped with oxygen and the equipment necessary to safely transport non-emergency patients to and from their required destinations.

We prefer to schedule our BLS Ambulance services in advance whenever possible.  But, of course, we accept non-scheduled appointments.  We can almost always have a BLS ambulance at the door of your facility or for your patient within thirty (30) minutes of your call for non-life threatening emergencies.  (Of course, in those instances where a person's life is threatened, you should immediately call 911.)  For other non-scheduled appointments, we will do our very best to work with you to meet your special needs in a timely and professional manner.

If you, a loved one, friend or relative need non-emergency ambulance assistance to be scheduled through LogistiCare (Medicaid and Medicaid HMO patients), then it is best to contact us and make sure that the appointment is place our our BLS schedule after you call LogistiCare and schedule that appointment.
